STRENGTH TRAINING
Resistance training is the most effective way to fight age-related muscle loss (sarcopenia) and improve bone density. Women over 45 who engage in resistance training at least 3 times per week reduce their overall bone fracture risk by 51% and vertebral fracture risk by 44%. Our program uses safe, guided strength training to build resilience and energy for everyday life.
MOBILITY & STABILITY
Every participant begins with a movement screen and PT assessment to uncover tight joints, weak muscles, and imbalances. Using this information, we create a personalized plan that improves flexibility, restores proper movement, and builds the stability needed to stay safe and strong. This process helps you move with ease, reduce pain, and prevent future injuries, creating a solid foundation for lifelong activity.
STATE OF THE ART TOOLS
Our facility is equipped with everything you need to train, recover, and stay healthy in one place. You’ll have access to a Salus Sauna for deep muscle relaxation and improved circulation, and Cold Life cold tubs to reduce inflammation and speed recovery. Plus, our on-site physical therapy clinic, Nomadic PT, provides expert care to address pain, restore movement, and keep you performing at your best. This combination of training, recovery, and professional support helps you feel better, move better, and stay active longer.

MOVEMENT SCREEN
We start with a series of light, guided movements to evaluate your mobility, stability, and posture. This helps us see how your body moves in real life and identify any limitations.
IDENTIFY PROBLEM AREAS
Next, we assess key joints like your knees, hips, spine, and shoulders to uncover imbalances, pain points, and functional issues. This step shows us where you need the most support to stay safe and active.

No, but this program is most beneficial for adults aged 55+.
No—our programming accommodates beginners through experienced athletes. Coaches adjust workouts based on each participant’s abilities.
The program's discovery visit, ongoing class structure, and recovery services (sauna, cold plunge) will all be held at Be Somebody Gym (906 Callahan Dr #112, Knoxville, TN 37912)
We focus on functional fitness, which means training your body to move better in everyday life. Our program combines resistance training, mobility work, and rehabilitation & prehabilitation exercises based on your personalized movement screen. We also include cardiovascular endurance training to improve heart health and stamina.
The program starts September 22nd, and classes will be held twice per week Tuesday & Thursday from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM. Discovery calls should be completed before program start date, but we do accept late registrants.
